Each year, SFIC organises several
annual networking activities to create opportunities
for industry players, government, business associates
and media representatives to build rapport and
establish good business relationship. One of them
includes the Chinese New Year Luncheon.
This year, the council has
once again invited the Singapore Furniture Association
(SFA) to jointly organise the luncheon which was
held at Grand Corpthorne Waterfront Hotel on 14
February 2008. It was a double celebration as
SFIC & SFA celebrate the 8th day of Lunar
New Year and also Valentine's day. SFIC has therefore
prepared roses to be given as Valentine’s
Day gift for all the ladies guests on that day.
Members and business associates
were treated to a sumptuous 7-course lunch at
the Grand Ballroom, where everyone mingles and
‘toss’ to a year of continuing prosperity
and good fortunes.
