The 16th SFIC Annual Golf Tournament
took flight at Warren Golf & Country Club
on 28 August 2009 together with 152 avid golfers
vying for the different category prizes. Golfing
in midst of the amazing greenery and serenity
with soft splashing water from the ponds, canals
and nearby reservoir, the golfers were pampered
fully with sensory pleasures.
The proud winner for this year’s
Challenge Trophy was Mr Tsai Sun Que from JC Packer's
System Pte Ltd. However, the golfers have no luck
with this year’s attractive hole-in-one
prize - Mercedes-Benz C-Class C200 Kompressor,
proudly sponsored by Daimler South East Asia Pte
Ltd, Mercedes-Benz Singapore. The hole-in-one
prize remains unclaimed since the last winner
in 2003.
Nevertheless, the golfers were
none the least disappointed as the beautiful course
and wonderful game were rewarding enough for them,
not to mention, the goody bags and other wonderful
prizes.
