Exploring the great potential of the fast growing Indian market, SFIC together with the support of IE Singapore and MP International Pte Ltd led a group of 10 local companies in November 2010 on a mission trip to Mumbai and New Delhi.
The objectives of the mission were to allow Singapore furniture companies to establish links and build good rapport with some of the major players in the India furniture industry. The delegations also took this opportunity to meet up with relevant trade organizations and government bodies to facilitate business exchange in the Indian market.
During the seven days mission, delegates shared their success stories and business expansion plans with the invited key furniture players from both cities of Mumbai and Delhi and in exchange, gained useful advises from the furniture manufacturers on some of the important criterion of import & export business in India. This was a successful and fruitful mission where potential opportunities have been evoked for a better future to our local furniture industry.
