SFIC Institute is the training and capability development arm of the Singapore Furniture Industries Council. Established to support the long-term development of the furniture ecosystem, the institute provides professional training, workforce transformation programmes, and enterprise capability initiatives for the industry.

SFIC Institute delivers structured training programmes designed to equip professionals and companies with skills relevant to the evolving furniture and built environment sectors. Its programmes span areas such as product design and development, digital marketing, retail operations, business management, production technology, and sustainability. 

Through partnerships with agencies such as SkillsFuture Singapore, Workforce Singapore, Enterprise Singapore, and NTUC’s e2i, the institute also supports industry workforce transformation through career conversion programmes, skills upgrading, and job placement initiatives. 

Momentum Strategies is a consultancy initiative connected to the SFIC Institute ecosystem. It provides strategic advisory services to support business transformation and enterprise development for companies across the industry. 

The consultancy focuses on six key areas: globalisation, sustainability, technology adoption, design and branding, manpower development, and production advisory — helping businesses strengthen competitiveness and adapt to evolving market demands.
 

Artisan Academy is a specialised initiative under SFIC Institute focused on woodworking and carpentry skills development. Its programmes combine practical training and craftsmanship education to nurture both aspiring professionals and enthusiasts interested in woodcraft. 

Through hands-on workshops and structured learning pathways, the academy helps develop technical craftsmanship and preserve artisanal skills while supporting industry talent development.
